Living in Northern Ireland for a few decades now, song writing influences are many and varied but mostly from the music of singer songwriters like Simon and Garfunkel, Jim Croce, James Taylor, Bread, Billy Joel, David Bowie and bands like America and Eagles and more.

It wasn’t long before the need arose to express personal thoughts and feelings with original music. Working with other musicians broadened repertoire and skills as a musician. The variety of work done as a solo entertainer certainly helped also.
Born in Dublin, into an already large family, learning an instrument may perhaps have been a way to be heard amidst the large number of voices.
In 1987 the first albums were released under the independent label Home Records. Distribution was then, and continues to be, by online sales only.
